“ARTASHES” LTD has been founded in 1991 and was considered as the first Armenian privately owned enterprise. The company produces ecologically clean and high quality goods: jams, preserves, natural juices, eggplant paste, adjika and marinades. Production is packed in glass container of capacity from 30gr. and more. The most part of our production is exported to USA, Russia and France.
From time to time our enterprise participates in the international exhibitions.
In 1999 at a fair-exhibition of articles of food in Moscow the enterprise was awarded with the diploma of the first degree for the first-rate quality jam in assortment by the Ministry of trade of Russian Federation and Ministry of an agriculture and foodstuffs of Russian Federation.
In April 1999 the senator of state South Carolina, Mr. Addison G. (Joe) Wilson has handed over our enterprise a symbol of city ( key) for deepening the business attitudes between Armenia and USA.
In 2000 the enterprise was awarded with a gold medal for quality of production in New-York.
In May 2002 our company participated in the exhibition held in Armenia, within the framework of which we managed to fix new business ties.
The enterprise has made progress during the past two years, among which we can mention the growing number of customers, expanded distribution geography, and the high demand for the production. In August 2005 our company successfully received ISO 9000:2001 and HACCP certificates from TUV Rheinland Group, indicating that our production has very high quality.
In the current our company is one of the first in Trans-Caucasus which has both of these certificates.
During 2003-2004 “ARTASHES” LTD cannery production was recognized as one of Armenian mainly export-oriented companies by the United States Agency for International Development through Eurasian Foundation Program in the processing of Marketing Investigations.
Implemented export-works and efforts realized by “ARTASHES” LTD thoroughly and permanently ensure that businessmen in different countries are informed about the great potential available in Armenia.
In 2005 “ARTASHES” LTD was the unique company in the territory of RA having been awarded with HACCP – (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points) Certificate by the TUV Industry Certification Body.
“ARTASHES” LTD has also been awarded with ISO 9001:2000 for the production of canned jams and preserved vegetables, natural juice and honey.
In 2005 “ARTASHES” LTD had the opportunity to collaborate with Global Quality Promotion Association reflecting high level of international initiative regarding the concept of agricultural raw-material cultivating quality and research in this field.
In 2005 “ARTASHES” LTD was invited to Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre to “GULFOOD”- in the framework of Armenian best food exporters of canned products.
In 2006 President of Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharyan visited to “Artashes” LTD cannery production expressing his admiration of factory labor efforts and speedy development of cannery assortments.
With the aim of expanding export directions in the countries of CIS “ARTASHES” LTD has collaborated with Latvia during the Armenian days in Moscow in the “Golden Apricot” food industry exhibition.
In 2006 our company participated in food exhibition of cannery production in Marseilles, (France) approving high quality of production’s assortment.
“ARTASHES” LTD has won the prize of “Quality Summit Gold Award for Excellence and Business Prestige” in San Francisco, California, in Glendale in the framework of “Armenian Food- Expo” in the period of Armenian days in the USA.
